Activity Groups: Designing Women

All Bucks County Neighbors are invited to the Designing Women monthly programs that range from interior design, to home decorating, art, architecture, gardens and textile design. We look for interesting and enjoyable shows, workshops, lectures, and art exhibits in a commutable distance. Car-pooling from a central location is offered and we usually plan for lunch at a nearby special restaurant. Programs are at cost, car pool drivers are compensated for their costs, and we split the lunch tab.

The 2009-2010 programs are: Oct. 15th - Devon Fall Festival of Homes, Philly's Main Line $40 includes box lunch. Nov. TBA, Black Eyed Susan's Holiday Decorating Demonstration, Yardley. Dec 2, Longwood's Peirce-du-Pont home, Conservatory & Garden Tour, Kennett Square, PA, $15, Jan 13, Decorative Painting Demo/Lecture, Colkett Painting, Newtown. Feb 17-18, The Psychology of Color in Your Home by Color Consultant Margo Ginsberg, Newtown. March 10, Interior Decorating Not Just for the Rich, Holly Pringle of Interior Design and Solutions, Newtown. April TBA, Kips Bay Designer Show House NYC $30. May TBA, Jr. League of Princeton Decorator Show House and Gardens $30. June TBA, Spring Lake NJ Historical Society's House Tour $35.
